Hotels in Europe

Below you'll find a couple of links to some very reasonably priced hotels in France.  Every time we've been to Europe, we've stayed in the hotels, especially the first one (Hotel Formule1).

The rooms are very clean and most hotels are new.  There is also breakfast included.  They keep the costs down by doing a few things.  First off, these hotels won't necessarily be in the very heart of the action, as that would mean higher property costs and therefore higher room rates.  But they are still well located.  The other thing they do is they allow you to check in through an automated process.  You arrive to the hotel and check in through a computer.  They charge your credit card and you get a code for the front door as well as your room.

  • Hotel Formule1 - A choice of 356 different hotels.  These hotels are found in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Sweden.

  • Hotel Formule1 - A choice of 356 different hotels.  These hotels are found in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Sweden.

  • Etap Hotel - These hotels are similar to Hotel Formule1 but are a little bit fancier and cost a bit more.

  • Ibis Hotels - These hotels are from the same company as the above two.  However, these are often found in the tourist areas as well as the downtown regions.  They are a bit more expensive but are still reasonably priced.  If you want to stay right in the heart of the action, these hotels are definitely worth checking out.

  • Novotel - Another hotel chain in France that is similar to the others.  It would be along the lines of Ibis Hotels.

  • Premiere Classe - Another great and reasonably priced chain of hotels in France.  However, this site seems to be only in French.  I guess it is in France after all. :-)
